MIDDLESBROUGH FC have confirmed that Tuncay Sanli has been granted a work permit by the Home Office that will allow the player to complete his move to the club.

Boro had previously announced that the Turkey international had signed a four-year deal with Boro subject to a successful work permit application.

The good news means that once paperwork formalities are complete Tuncay will be able to join up for pre-season training with his new team-mates.

Boro will hold a press conference to officially unveil the 25-year-old when the squad returns from a pre-season training camp in Austria in mid-July.
