TURKISH superstar Tuncay Sanli has already impressed his new team-mates with some stunning flashes of skill during his first Boro training session.

Tuncay Granted Work Permit

MIDDLESBROUGH FC have confirmed that Tuncay Sanli has been granted a work permit by the Home Office that will allow the player to complete his move to the club.
Boro had previously announced that the Turkey international had signed a four-year deal with Boro subject to a successful work permit application.

TUNCAY SANLI dropped in at pre-season season training to say goodbye to his Fenerbahce team-mates as he awaits the granting of a work permit which will allow him to join up with Boro. Like Gareth Southgate’s men, the Turkish champions are back at work this week after their summer break. Tuncay visited his friends at the Samandira Training Facility, where he famously once lived, helping gain his legendary status with the club’s fans as evidence of his dedication to the cause.

GARETH SOUTHGATE has revealed how Boro swooped to sign Turkish superstar Tuncay Sanli from under the noses of a gathering pack of rival suitors.
The 25-year-old forward was snapped up on a Bosman transfer after his contract with Turkish champions Fenerbahce came to an end. But Boro had no time to lose as interested clubs in countries including Spain and Italy prepared to make their moves.
